The stethoscope of the 21st century may have arrived. GE unveiled the Vscan, a medical imaging tool as compact as a cell phone and as powerful as a large ultrasound console.

Doctors can use it to look inside a patient’s body and instantly see fluid around the heart, for example, or a baby in the breech position. In a field where minutes can make the difference between life and death, the Vscan — not yet commercially available — could improve the way medicine is practiced everywhere, from cutting-edge ERs to makeshift village clinics.

you might be marveled at the image, reminiscent of science fiction of Johannes Kepler' work Somnium, presenting a detailed imaginative description of how the earth might look when viewed from the moon, besides it is real. This image is the depiction of a layer of carbon dioxide ice covers the dunes and a warm spring sun melts the ice so that it evaporates. Sand becomes dislodged and forms the darker regions around the dunes. The process occurs often enough that there are often small clouds of dust that form around the dunes as well.

Look closely, this astonishing image, taken in the north latitudes of Mars, and you can see cracks of ice, these cracks slowly disappear as the ice melts and evaporates. The images were taken with the HiRISE camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, transmitted over the Deep Space network.

Your fascination ends here, the planet Mars gets more astounding by the minute. New images discloses a varied surface, with bright layered deposits – here, shown near a plateau in the Juventae Chasma. Brown, purple, sandy regions appear across the entire 3/4 mile region, illuminated from the left of the image.

The deposits are consistent with low-temperature regions. Along the walls, researchers have found that bright deposits are consistent with a persistent rainfall and run-off, but have not determined when this could have occurred or from what source. "The stripes are layers of sediments that were probably laid down by water a long time ago, More recently, they were worn out by windblown sand (the dark dunes seen in this image) to show the layers.

She is a perfect model and paragon of being slim and sensual, is weighed 95 lb and toll by 5 ft 5 in. She is none other than the HRP-4C robot model will achieve the height of the Giseles and Naomis of catwalk fame. That didn't stop the HRP-4C from making her debut in March, modeling a wedding dress by designer Yumi Katsura on her black-and-silver frame. Researchers at Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology developed the $2 million HRP-4C, which is equipped with doelike eyes and shoulder-length hair, as well as sound-recognition sensors and motors in her face to mimic human expressions. But with the HRP-4C's unusually long arms, rigid gait and expected price of about $200,000,

Now flesh-and-blood models are worried about losing their jobs to futuristic fashionistas quite yet.

Whether you are sharing an apartment, a house, or a room with workmates or classmates, having a personal space for your own food supply is often a matter of necessity. You may desire your own storage space for your particular and unique culinary delights.

The new Electrolux Flatshare Refrigerator is an innovative product that gives you your own space for your all-natural, processed, or whatever else kind of food you enjoy. No longer do you have to store your exquisite delectables alongside someone else's less-than-fresh rutabaga or rapidly deteriorating corn dog. This modular refrigerator guarantees you your own personal, safe, sanitary, and organized refrigerator and freezer space.

The concept behind the Electrolux Flatshare Refrigerator is simple. The modular fridge as a whole is made up of separate pieces or compartments. They are stackable, one on top of the other. In essence, each roommate has their own mini-fridge; however, they are not stored in separate rooms. They are part of one refrigerator unit in one space that takes up the same amount of space as a traditional refrigerator does.

Nasa, adding another feather to its cap has launched an exceedingly advanced spaceflight successfully so as to improve the design and safety of the next generation of American spaceflight vehicles, which could take humans beyond low earth orbit.Built on cutting-edge launch technologies, evolved powerful Apollo and space shuttle propulsion elements, and decades of NASA spaceflight experience, Ares I is the essential core of a safe, reliable, cost-effective space transportation system, one that will carry crewed missions back to the moon, on to Mars and out into the solar system.

Ares I is an in-line, two-stage rocket configuration topped by the Orion crew vehicle and its launch abort system. In addition to the vehicle's primary mission, carrying crews of four to six astronauts to Earth orbit. Ares I may also use its 25-ton payload capacity to deliver resources and supplies to the International Space Station, or to "park" payloads in orbit for retrieval by other spacecraft bound for the moon or other destinations.

In 21st century, so much life is dependent on electricity, so the purpose of this invention is to make electricity so cheaper that only rich can afford to burn candle.

A home made generator is the best solution to powering and building your own electricity at home. Over the years it has become increasingly popular for people to partially power their own house and reduce their dependence on electricity companies. Solar power is great but if you don't receive enough sunlight you are unable to create enough electricity.

Deliverance from Energy dependence, generating electricity is the easiest and most flexible thing one can do, if they follow the simple steps, One of the easiest ways to generate electricity is to make your own solar panels(For under $100)! You can do anything from generate power to run a gate or garage door opener, put lights and power in an outbuilding, sell power back to the grid to cut your electric bill, or even completely live without power from a utility company and operate an electric car.

Jamers Cameron’s Avatar opens this week, with trailers featuring some funny-looking aircraft that resemble helicopters, but with ducted fans instead of the traditional rotor blades. While there are no full-size aircraft employing this technology, it’s already in use on small unmanned drones. And it has distinct advantages over the older approach.

Last month, an Australian company, Cyber Technology (WA) Pty Ltd, used a drone with ducted fans in an actual operation. Their Cyber Quad vertical take-off drone carried out an extended survey of an offshore drilling platform and an oil rig damaged by fire. The drone flew around, under and inside the two structures, which are joined by a gantry, as well as landing on them for a better look.

Yes, that is what technology & engineering can do for you. Watch this amazing 3 meter cubed home.

Japanese architect Jo Nagasaka and the Schemata Architecture Office have come up with a home design that rethinks just how much space one person needs. 6,000 square feet? 600? Well, try 30 square feet.

The Paco home has a hammock to sleep on, a Japanese-style recessed desk, and a sink, toilet and shower all in a crate that's a 3-meter-cube. It's not intended to replace where you live now, but rather to supplement it. It could be a beach house, a portable office — anything, really, as long as you find a way to lug it into place and hook up the water.

Trying to open that hatch-like roof to get in doesn't look like the most comfortable solution, either, though maybe that's a doggy door on the side.
